Our five-effect TVR evaporation system is specially designed for the concentration of xylose solution and related sugar products. The system offers an evaporation capacity of 26 T/H and delivers a stable outlet concentration of 50%, making it ideal for medium and large-scale continuous production lines.
The plant is arranged in five effects with either forward-flow or backward-flow configuration, combined with a thermal vapor recompression (TVR) unit. By reusing the secondary vapor energy across multiple effects, the system dramatically reduces fresh steam consumption and overall operating costs compared with traditional single-effect or conventional multi-effect evaporators.
All product-contact parts are manufactured from high-grade stainless steel SS316. This material provides excellent corrosion resistance in low pH environments often found in xylose processing, and is compatible with CIP cleaning. SS316 also offers high temperature resistance, extended equipment service life, and reduced downtime for maintenance.
The system is engineered to protect product quality. By carefully controlling temperature gradients and vacuum levels, thermal degradation and discoloration of xylose are minimized, ensuring light color and low impurity content in the concentrated product. According to customer requirements, the plant can be equipped with a fully automated control system for real-time monitoring and regulation of level, temperature, pressure, and concentration.
